SPEECH PATHways is Moving to a New, Expanded Location in June 2011!

We are thrilled to be moving into a huge new space in the Shoppes at Meadow Creek! Our new 2700+ square foot space will allow us to conviently locate all services on ONE floor, from Speech Therapy to Occupational and Physical Therapy, Reading Therapy and Music Therapy!

Our new layout will feature 8 treatment rooms, a large motor gym (with OT KIDZ), and a computer technology room (with wireless access), allowing us to continue to offer the latest advances in therapeutic interventions to our clients. We will also begin offering special needs dance classes by B'more Abilities Special Arts Center.

Our new address will be: 410 Meadow Creek Drive, Suite #206, Westminster MD, 21158

Kimberly Bell Becomes the First Certified Provider of The Listening Program to the Carroll County Area

SPEECH PATHways founder/owner Kimberly Bell has achieved certification in The Listening Program, a nationally known program for systematic auditory stimulation that — when customized for listeners by certified TLP Providers — can help improve long-term ability to function in , including motor skills, organizational skills and memory, vocal abilities, creativity, and even energy levels in the listener. With Kim's certification, SPEECH PATHways becomes the only area Clinic to provide this cutting-edge intervention.

In 2010, Kim is entering her 15th year as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist as she leads SPEECH PATHways into its 11th year as the leading area clinic. Although many folks slow down as winter approaches, Kim takes advantage of this time to train her highly qualified staff of therapists and to increase her knowledge and certifications in the latest treatment methods that will benefit her clients and their families. Her additional recent training includes Pam Marshalla’s methods, Boshart’s methods, Pre-Literacy/Early Literacy Skills training, Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), SCERTS, Verbal Behavior/Applied Behavioral Analysis, and
The P.L.A.Y. Program.
