Opening Pathways for Those in Need

The ability to communicate is one of the most critical aspects in life. Communication disorders are among the most common disabilities in the United States. A child's overall future and success can be improved greatly through early identification and intervention of communication disorders (ASHA, 2006). The SPEECH PATHways Foundation seeks to open the doors to high-quality private speech-language pathology services and programs for the children of Carroll County and the surrounding areas, to ensure a brighter childhood and future.


	Mission The mission of the SPEECH PATHways Foundation is to improve the lives of children who have communication disorders through grants/scholarships, parent and professional education, and support to the Carroll County community and surrounding areas. We strive to empower children of all ages to achieve their full communicative potential.			Goals Our goals focus on helping children with communication disorders maximize their ability to communicate. We support children by providing grants and scholarships to local private speech-language pathology practices and programs that best meet the needs of the individual children we serve. 	Operations The SPEECH PATHways Foundation is guided by an Advisory Board of accomplished professionals. Grants administration and donations are handled through the Community Foundation of Carroll County. Meet our Advisory Board...
